Job summary

Hawk Hiring in Bath is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a busy workshop. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs to high standards, with modern diagnostic tools and a focus on first-time fixes.

Qualified candidates will have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair, 1–2 years in a workshop, and a Full UK licence. MOT testing is preferred but not required. Enjoy a weekday schedule with zero weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair required or equivalent.
• Minimum 1–2 years hands-on workshop experience.
• F-Gas certification preferred or willingness to obtain it.
• Full UK driving licence required; MOT Tester licence preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and complex mechanical repairs to high standards.
• Perform MOT inspections if qualified, following DVSA guidelines.
• Utilise diagnostic software and equipment to fault-find and resolve issues.
• Maintain precise digital job records and deliver first-time fixes.
• Work effectively as part of a team with minimal supervision.
