Job summary

Vertu Jaecoo & Omoda Macclesfield is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join our team. This role offers a basic salary between £31,076 and £40,220 for a 42-hour week with no weekend work.

We also provide a £4,000 sign-on bonus (£2,000 on joining and £2,000 in month 13). You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles with an emphasis on first-time fixes and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Relevant automotive NVQ/City & Guilds Level 3 qualification or equivalent.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician in a retail setting.
• MOT Licence held and up to date.
• Own toolset available for use.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostics and perform repairs to a high standard.
• Deliver first-time fixes to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Work collaboratively with teams to maintain service quality.

This role offers a basic salary between £31,076 and £40,220, depending on your skills and experience, this is based on a 42‑hour working week and no weekend working.

We’re also offering a £4000 sign‑on bonus. You’ll receive £2000 when you join us and an additional £2000 in month 13 of your employment.

• Service & Maintenance Technician – Up to £37,700
• Service & Diagnostic Technician – Up to £40,220
