Job summary

Vertu Vauxhall Lichfield is hiring a Vehicle Technician for a full-time, on-site role with a 42-hour week. The position offers a salary between £30,076 and £40,220, plus a £4,000 sign-on bonus (£2,000 after month 1 and £2,000 after month 13).

You will diagnose, repair, and service vehicles to the highest standards, with a focus on first-time fixes. Responsibilities include handling diagnostics and servicing across vehicle systems, and contributing to a strong customer experience built on trust

Qualifications

• A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3.
• Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• MOT license preferred but not essential.
• Your own set of tools.
• A full UK driving licence.

We are offering a basic salary between £30,076 - £40,220 depending on skills and experience.

This is based on a 42 hour working week and includes an additional over-performance bonus opportunity.

We are offering a £4,000 sign on bonus. £2,000 in Month one of employment and £2,000 in month 13.

Your role as a Vehicle Technician is crucial in delivering an exceptional customer experience, built on trust and honesty.

We are expanding our team and currently seeking skilled individuals who take pride in their work.

You will be responsible for diagnostic, repair and servicing vehicles to the highest standards.

Your expertise across all aspects of the job will be essential, from straightforward servicing to complex repairs.

To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills:
