Job summary

Octane Recruitment seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in Newcastle. You will service and maintain vehicles and perform MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles for a reputable independent garage that is expanding, with clear career development potential.

The role involves a Mon-Fri 8am-6pm schedule with Saturdays on a rota, and a competitive package including up to £38,000 basic plus uncapped bonus with OTE around £43,800.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license.
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent).
• MOT Class 4 qualification.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair.
• Carrying out MOT tests on Class 4 vehicles in line with DVSA standards.
