Job summary

Octane Recruitment client seeks a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in Oldham. Must hold a valid MOT license and a full UK driving license. Salary up to £40,000 basic plus bonus and overtime (OTE £45k).

Role involves servicing, diagnostics across electrical/mechanical/hydraulic systems, and MOT testing to DVSA standards. Rotating Saturdays; opportunity to join a leading main dealer group.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license is required.
• A valid MOT class 4 license is required.
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering Level 3 (or equivalent); Level 2 considered with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, including warranty work within brand parameters.
• Carry out MOT testing duties in accordance with DVSA standards.

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Carry out MOT testing duties in accordance to DVSA standards

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (Or equivalent). We will consider level 2 if you 5+ years experience
• A valid MOT class 4 license
