Job summary

Autotech-Recruit-Limited in Ipswich is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to join a growing automotive retailer. The role offers strong earning potential, ongoing manufacturer-led training, and clear career progression within a supportive workshop environment.

You will service, maintain and repair vehicles, perform MOT testing, and work within a professional team to inspect and repair vehicles safely and efficiently.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• MOT Tester qualification (preferred).
• Full UK driving licence.
• Strong technical knowledge and diagnostic skills.
• Experience working within a professional workshop environment.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Confidence using modern workshop systems and equipment.
• A proactive and customer-focused approach.
• A passion for the automotive industry and delivering excellent workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOT testing to high standards.

The Role

As a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester, you will be responsible for carrying out servicing, maintenance, repairs and MOT testing to the highest standards. You will work as part of a professional workshop team, ensuring customer vehicles are inspected, maintained and repaired safely and efficiently.
