Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester for a leading main dealer group in Trafford Park. The role offers a salary up to £42,000 basic plus uncapped bonus and overtime with OTE around £60k DOE.

Working hours are 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rota. You will service and maintain vehicles and carry out DVSA-compliant MOT testing, with a valid MOT license and a full UK driving licence required.

Qualifications

• Must have full UK driving license.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 (or equivalent); Level 2 considered with dealer experience.
• Valid MOT License is required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles.
• Perform MOT testing in DVSA standards.

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Carrying out MOT Testing duties in accordance to DVSA standards

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (or equivalent), but we will also consider level 2 with main dealership experience
• A Valid MOT License is needed
