Job summary

Octane Recruitment's client is seeking a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester in Oldham who holds a valid MOT license and a full UK driving licence to join a leading main dealer group.

The role offers a salary up to £40,000 plus bonus and overtime, with a Monday-Friday pattern and Saturdays on a rota. You will service and diagnose vehicles and perform MOT testing to DVSA standards.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid MOT license and a full UK driving licence.
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent); Level 2 considered with 5+ years experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of vehicles.
• Perform electrical, mechanical and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair including warranty work.
• Carry out MOT testing duties in line with DVSA standards.

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Carry out MOT testing duties in accordance to DVSA standards

Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds or Mechanical Engineering level 3 (Or equivalent). We will consider level 2 if you 5+ years experience
• A valid MOT class 4 license
