Job summary

Holdcroft is recruiting a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for Volvo in Stoke-on-Trent. Immediate start. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, and liaise with customers as needed.

The role offers a highly competitive OTE up to £60,000 with uncapped commission, extensive manufacturer training, 31 days holiday, and strong career progression within a thriving automotive group.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair or equivalent.
• Experience diagnosing faults and performing mechanical repairs on vehicles.
• Experience working in a workshop and following manufacturer specifications.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete accurate repair work efficiently.
• Ensure work is completed to high quality and safety standards.
• Liaise with customers on technical issues when required.
• Work with the wider technical team to meet performance targets.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Follow manufacturer and company procedures and guidelines.

You will play a key role in supporting the technical team by carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard, in line with manufacturer specifications. Your role:

• Carry out general servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards

• Work collaboratively with the wider technical team to meet performance targets

About You

• NVQ Level 3 qualified in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)
• Experienced working within a workshop environment
• Confident in diagnostic and mechanical repair work
• MOT Licence holder (preferred but not essential)
• Hold a valid UK driving licence
• Able to work effectively towards both team and individual targets
