Job summary

Holdcroft is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician / Mechanic in Crewe to perform servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards. You will diagnose faults, complete repairs efficiently, and maintain high quality and safety across all work.

The role offers a competitive basic salary with uncapped commission and training opportunities to progress within a thriving automotive retail group. Candidates with MOT where possible and a UK driving licence are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Experience in a workshop environment.
• Confident with diagnostics and mechanical repair work.
• MOT Licence holder (preferred but not essential).
• Hold a valid UK driving licence.
• Ability to work towards team and individual targets.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults and complete accurate repair work efficiently.
• Ensure all work is completed to a high level of quality and safety.
• Liaise with customers regarding technical issues when required.
• Work with the wider technical team to meet performance targets.

Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 basic + uncapped commission

You will play a key role in supporting the technical team by carrying out servicing, maintenance, and mechanical repairs to a high standard, in line with manufacturer specifications.
