Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/Mechanic for our Gosport Autocentre in Hampshire. The role involves servicing and repair/replacement work with the ability to tackle more complex tasks such as clutch and timing belt replacements, plus diagnostics across electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

We offer an uncapped bonus scheme with average earnings of £6,600 on top of a base salary of £34,640, with on-target earnings up to £41,240.

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must hold a full UK driving licence with 9 or fewer points.
• Experience in diagnostic work and complex repairs.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, repair and replacement work.
• Perform complex tasks including clutches, timing belts, and diagnostics on electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.
