Job summary

Halfords Autocentres in Sunderland is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician/Mechanic. You will service and repair vehicles, carry out diagnostics, and handle tasks such as clutches and timing belt replacements as well as diagnostics across electrics, brakes, steering and suspension.

The role is full-time, five days a week, with a base salary of £32,000-£35,000 plus an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,700 per year, giving potential earnings up to £42,700.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience as a Technician/Mechanic with diagnostic ability (brakes, steering/suspension, engine) and more complex repair work.

• Perform servicing and repair/replacement work on vehicles.
