Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Technician/ Mechanic in Gosport to service and repair vehicles, including diagnostics across brakes, steering, suspension, and electrical systems. You’ll work at a Fusion centre with modern facilities and a strong focus on customer experience.

The role offers a base salary of £34,640, plus an uncapped monthly bonus averaging £6,600 per year, with opportunities to progress within Halfords’ Autocentres network and benefit from training, hybrid options, and a broad

Qualifications

• Must have Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served
• Must hold a full driving license with no more than 9 points
• Experienced Technician/Mechanic with diagnostic abilities (brakes, steering/suspension, engine, electrical)

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and repair/replacement work
• Perform diagnostics on vehicle systems including brakes, steering/suspension, engine and electrics
• Handle more complex repairs such as clutches, timing belts and electrical diagnostics
