Thurrock Council is seeking a qualified Vehicle Technician to maintain a fleet of 155 vehicles, including 61 HGVs, vans and plant equipment. You will inspect, prepare for MOT, carry out servicing and repairs to a high standard.
The role requires NVQ Level 3 heavy vehicles, LGV C and D1 licences, MOT testing qualification and the ability to work a 37-hour rotating shift with occasional overtime; you must supply your own tools.
Salary: £39,027 - £44,463 per annum * + 7.5% Shift Allowance
Additional Market Supplement of £5,000 per annum reviewed annually*

You will be required to work 37 hours per week on a rotating shift pattern of 06:00 - 14:00 & 10:00 - 18:00.
