CarSupermarket.com in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join our workshop. You will perform servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of makes and models using diagnostic tools.

You should hold a Level 3 qualification in light vehicle maintenance, be able to work independently or in a team, and demonstrate strong attention to detail and good communication. A competitive £37,000 salary, 6 weeks' annual leave, and our training program are included.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair vehicles across makes and models using diagnostic equipment.
• Inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately.
• Repair or replace defective parts and resolve defects.
• Perform DVSA vehicle testing if authorised.
• Road test vehicles to verify repairs.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Follow checklists to ensure procedures are completed.
• Complete all documentation to required standards.
• Support other technicians in the workshop.

Your role: Vehicle Technician

• Conducting vehicle preparation, servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of makes and models.


• Using your technical knowledge to inspect engines and mechanical/electrical components to diagnose issues accurately, using computer-based diagnostic equipment.


• Repairing or replacing broken or defective parts and resolving defects.


• Carrying out DVSA vehicle testing (if authorised).


• Road testing vehicles to check repairs.


• Maintaining equipment and making sure tools are in good condition.


• Following checklists to ensure all procedures are completed.


• Completing all documentation to the required standard.


• Road testing vehicles to check for faults and repairs.


• Supporting other Technicians in the Workshop

About You

• Light Vehicle Maintenance Level 3.
