Job summary

Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Vehicle Technician in Leicester to join a reputable workshop that offers a competitive salary, ongoing training and clear career progression. The package includes a basic salary of £37,639 with an OTE of £43,639, up to 8% bonus, overtime, and a strong benefits offering including health, pension and IMI-accredited hybrid/electric

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair.
• At least 3 years' experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with accuracy.
• Ensure vehicles meet high safety and legal standards.
• Maintain quality workmanship and safety protocols.
• Support workshop productivity and timely vehicle turnaround.
• Assist with hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics and repairs as required.

Duties:

• Carry out comprehensive servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults with efficiency and accuracy
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to high safety and legal standards
• Maintain quality workmanship and adhere to safety protocols
• Support workshop productivity and ensure timely vehicle turnaround
• Assist with hybrid and electric vehicle diagnostics and repairs as required

Requirements:

• Minimum Level 2 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
• At least 3 years' experience working as a Vehicle Technician
• Strong diagnostic and repair skills
• Experience on Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) is advantageous but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence
