Job summary

HP4 RECRUITMENT LTD is seeking a Vehicle Technician to service and repair vans across a Leicester site. You will diagnose faults, perform servicing and MOT prep, and ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines.

The role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with optional overtime, a competitive salary, and routes for career progression within a national business. Experience with light commercial vehicles is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair is preferred.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles is highly desirable.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on vans and light commercial vehicles.
• Diagnose faults using diagnostic equipment.
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections.
• Ensure work meets manufacturer guidelines.
• Accurate completion of job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork.
• Work efficiently to meet workshop targets.

This role will focus primarily on the maintenance, servicing, and repair oflight commercial vehicles (LCVs) and vans, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a wide customer base.

Key Responsibilities
