Job summary

HP4 Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician (LCVs) to join our client’s nationwide team in Leicester. You will service, maintain and repair vans and light commercials to manufacturer standards, ensuring fleet reliability and safety for a broad customer base.

The role offers a secure full-time contract, a competitive basic salary (£36,720) with OTE (£42,660), and a Monday–Friday schedule with optional overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ / City & Guilds in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (preferred).
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic / LCV Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Experience working on vans or commercial vehicles (highly desirable).
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a range of vans and light commercial vehicles
• Diagnose faults using the latest diagnostic equipment
• Complete MOT preparation and general inspections
• Ensure all work is completed to a high standard in line with manufacturer guidelines
• Accurately complete job cards, service records, and compliance paperwork
• Work efficiently to meet productivity and workshop targets
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
