ISQ Recruitment Ltd is recruiting two Vehicle Technicians for a well‑established automotive business in Hainault, East London. The role covers servicing, diagnosis and repair of a range of vehicles in a busy workshop.

Ideal candidates will have a Level 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance, strong mechanical skills and a full UK driving licence. The position offers a basic salary up to £52,000 with an additional bonus scheme and a Monday to Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Previous experience as Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Strong mechanical repair and vehicle servicing skills.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.
• Good attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Responsabilités

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete repairs involving engines, brakes, suspension, steering and other vehicle systems.
• Undertake vehicle inspections and identify additional maintenance requirements.
• Accurately complete job cards, service records and repair documentation.
• Liaise with Service Advisors and workshop colleagues regarding repair requirements.
• Ensure all work meets manufacturer specifications and workshop quality standards.
• Carry out final inspections and road tests where required.
• Maintain a clean, organised and safe working environment.

The Role

Working within a busy, professional automotive workshop, you’ll be responsible for servicing, maintaining, diagnosing and repairing a variety of vehicles.

You’ll work alongside an experienced team, ensuring repairs are completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing, maintenance and mechanical repairs.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for experienced Vehicle Technicians / Mechanics with strong technical knowledge and a professional approach to vehicle maintenance and repairs.

Essential Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent practical experience.
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician, Motor Mechanic or Automotive Technician.
• Strong mechanical repair and vehicle servicing skills.
• Experience diagnosing and repairing vehicle faults.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a workshop team.
• Good attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship.
• Full UK driving licence.

Desirable Skills (Not Essential)

• Previous experience as a Senior Vehicle Technician or Master Technician.
• Advanced vehicle diagnostics and electrical fault‑finding experience.
• Hybrid and Electric Vehicle (EV) qualifications.
• Valid MOT Tester qualification.
• Experience working within a main dealer, independent garage or busy automotive service centre.
