Duties
- Performing comprehensive vehicle repairs and servicing on light commercial vehicles and cars
- Conducting clutch replacements, timing belt replacements, and scheduled maintenance tasks
- Diagnosing faults efficiently and accurately using diagnostic tools
- Road testing vehicles post-repair to ensure quality standards are met
- Completing accurate service documentation and repair reports
- Ensuring all work complies with manufacturer standards and safety regulations
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised workshop environment
Requirements of the Vehicle Technician
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in vehicle maintenance and repairs
- Proven experience working on vans and cars within a busy workshop setting
- Full valid UK manual driving licence, with minimal points (please specify points if applicable)
- Good knowledge of vehicle systems, diagnostics, and repair procedures
- Proactive approach with keen attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
