Job summary

ASI Recruitment Ltd are recruiting a Vehicle Technician to join an established workshop. You will carry out servicing, diagnostics, and repairs on a variety of vehicles, with MOT preparation and record-keeping as part of daily duties.

The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and diagnostic skills, a Level 3 qualification preferred, and a valid UK driving licence. MOT experience or training is a plus, and the role offers a clear path for skill development.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification preferred, but experience is more important.
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills.
• MOT licence would be a bonus.
• MOT training available for the right person.
• Full UK driving licence required.

Responsibilities

Vehicle Technician

If you're an experienced Vehicle Technician who enjoys a good mix of mechanical work, diagnostics and keeping busy in the workshop, this could be worth a look.

We're recruiting for a Technician to join an established workshop, working on a variety of vehicles and carrying out everything from routine servicing and repairs through to fault-finding and diagnostics.

The role

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
• Carry out vehicle inspections and identify any additional work required
• Complete mechanical repairs to a high standard
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify faults
• Carry out MOT preparation work
• Keep accurate records of work completed

About you

• £36,000-£40,000 basic, depending on experience
• OTE up to £50,000 based on time saved
