Job summary

Streamline Search Limited represents a successful automotive dealer group seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop team. You will service, maintain, diagnose and repair vehicles to the highest standards while ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and quality workmanship.

The role offers £35,000-£45,000 DOE, Monday to Friday hours, and modern workshop facilities with the latest diagnostic equipment, plus manufacturer training and real opportunities for career

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent).
• Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.
• Good IT skills and confidence using digital systems.
• A full UK driving licence.
• MOT Tester qualification would be advantageous but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out vehicle servicing, repairs and maintenance.
• Diagnosing and resolving mechanical and electrical faults.
• Using diagnostic equipment and technical support systems.
• Following manufacturer repair procedures and workshop processes.
• Completing accurate electronic job cards and technical reports.
• Ensuring all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
