Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd in Ewell, Surrey, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a well-established main dealership. You will carry out routine servicing and maintenance, diagnose faults, perform health checks, and complete service documentation.

The ideal candidate holds a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent), a full UK driving licence, and has workshop experience.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK.
• Previous workshop experience and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine vehicle servicing and maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical faults.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Carry out authorised repairs to a high standard.
• Use workshop diagnostic equipment and technical information.
• Road-test vehicles following repairs where required.
• Complete job cards and service documentation accurately.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join an established main dealership in Ewell, Surrey. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have previous workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.

Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 basic dependent on experience & qualifications

Bonus: Uncapped bonus scheme

Hours: Monday–Friday, no weekends (exact times to be confirmed)
