Job summary

Octane Recruitment Ltd is partnering with a busy main dealership in Basingstoke to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. You will service, maintain and repair vehicles and perform diagnostic work to identify faults.

The ideal candidate holds a recognised Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification, a Full UK driving licence, and the right to work in the UK. Main dealer experience is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing, maintenance and repairs.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Use diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify faults.
• Complete repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards.
• Maintain accurate job cards and workshop documentation.
• Work closely with the wider Aftersales and workshop team.

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Basingstoke. Applicants must hold a recognised qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Previous main dealership experience is desirable but not essential.

Salary: £38,771 basic per annum plus bonus, OTE: Up to £52,841

Hours: Full Time, 4 or 5-day working options available
