Job summary

A well-established independent workshop in Edenbridge is seeking a Vehicle Technician to join the team. You'll work with experienced technicians, gain hands-on experience across a range of makes and models, and have opportunities for long-term progression.

We offer ongoing training, a supportive workshop environment, and a pathway to become a fully qualified Vehicle Technician, with 5-day weeks and a pension.

Qualifications

• Previous experience within a workshop environment as a Technician, Junior Technician or Trainee Mechanic.
• Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (IMI, City & Guilds or equivalent) is desirable.
• A genuine passion for the motor trade and a willingness to learn.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and routine maintenance on a variety of vehicle makes and models.
• Assist with mechanical repairs and fault diagnosis.
• Complete vehicle inspections and identify repair requirements.
• Support experienced technicians with more complex repair work.
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
• Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently and to a high standard.
• Maintain a clean and organised working environment and contribute to workshop productivity.
