The package includes a competitive salary starting at £26,400, potential to £30,000 with EV accreditation, an OTE up to £34,000, and a Monday–Friday schedule from 08:00 to 17:30 with no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in vehicle maintenance or equivalent required.
• NVQ Level 3 qualifications advantageous for progression.
• Strong diagnostic skills and ability to work autonomously.
• Interest in EV technology and ongoing training.

Responsibilities

• Carry out vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Perform EV Health Checks (EVHC) and diagnose faults.
• Carry out routine maintenance tasks (e.g., brake pads) and inspections.
• Work independently with a proactive approach and in a team.
• Support efficient workshop operations and maintain high workmanship standards.
• Pursue ongoing learning, especially in EV technology and MOT licensing.

Duties:

• Conduct vehicle servicing and repairs to manufacturer standards
• Perform Electronic Vehicle Health Checks (EVHC) and diagnose faults using advanced diagnostic equipment
• Undertake routine maintenance tasks such as changing brake pads and conducting inspections
• Work independently with confidence, demonstrating a proactive approach to workshop tasks
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workshop operations
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer satisfaction
• Support continual learning, particularly in EV technology and MOT licensing requirements

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Vehicle Service Technician or similar role
• NVQ Level 2 qualification in vehicle maintenance (Level 3 advantageous)
• Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to work autonomously
• A genuine enthusiasm to learn and develop skills in EV technology
• Valid driving licence
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and good sense of humour
• Ability to undertake ongoing training and adapt to new technologies
