Perfect Placement UK Ltd is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a reputable main dealership in Derby. You will join a busy workshop, delivering servicing, repairs and diagnostics to manufacturer standards while earning a strong base salary with a robust OTE through team bonuses.

This role offers manufacturer-led training, clear career progression, and a supportive workshop environment. A Level 3 NVQ/City & Guilds and at least 3 years in a workshop are required, with main dealer

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
• Minimum of 3 years' practical workshop experience
• Previous main dealer experience is highly advantageous
• MOT licence would be desirable but is not essential
• Strong mechanical skills with basic diagnostic proficiency
• Pride in workmanship and attention to detail
• Excellent team player with a positive approach
• Full UK driving licence with no more than six penalty points

Responsibilities

• Deliver servicing, repairs, diagnostics, and vehicle health checks to manufacturer standards
• Identify and rectify vehicle faults efficiently
• Conduct visual vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness and safety
• Complete work within set timeframes while maintaining high quality
• Ensure customer satisfaction through professional service delivery
• Maintain accurate documentation and reporting on vehicle repairs and services
• Collaborate effectively within a team of skilled technicians
