Job summary

Autotech-Recruit-Limited is helping an established independent automotive business recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern, well-equipped workshop in Christchurch. You will service, diagnose, maintain and repair a range of makes and models, with access to training and the latest workshop technology.

You will have NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent, 3–5 years’ experience, strong diagnostic skills and a full UK driving licence, with a positive team attitude

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent.
• 3–5 years' workshop experience.
• Full UK Driving Licence and own hand tools.
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability.
• Pride in producing high-quality work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repair work to a high standard.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical faults.
• Complete vehicle inspections and health checks.
• Use diagnostic equipment and workshop systems effectively.
• Ensure all work is completed safely and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate job records and workshop paperwork.
• Deliver excellent customer service through quality workmanship.
• Support colleagues and contribute to a positive team environment.

About You

To be considered, you will have:

• MOT Tester Licence
