Job summary

Recruitment Boutique is seeking a Qualified Vehicle Technician for a temporary contract in Derby. The successful candidate will work in a dealership environment, performing inspections, servicing, and repairs to high standards.

Hours are 8:30am–5:00pm, Monday to Friday, with potential weekend work and a pay rate of £24 per hour.

Qualifications

• Essential qualifications: City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2 or 3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair.
• Proven experience in an automotive workshop.
• A full driving license is essential; MOT licence preferable but not mandatory.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough vehicle inspections and routine servicing.
• Carry out vehicle repairs professionally and safely to dealer standards.
• Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Collaborate with the team to maintain high-quality service.
