Job summary

Recruitment Boutique are seeking a Qualified Vehicle Technician to join our client's team in Reading on a temporary, full-time contract. The role offers 8:30am-5:00pm Monday to Friday with a weekend option, paid at £24 per hour.

You will work in a dealership environment, perform inspections, routine services and repairs to dealer standards, and communicate across departments. A City & Guilds/NVQ Level 2 or 3 and a full UK driving licence are essential; MOT licence preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in light vehicle maintenance and repair is essential.
• MOT Licence is preferred but not essential.
• Full driving licence is essential.
• Proven experience in an automotive workshop environment.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work in a dealership environment and adapt to a fast-paced workshop setting.
• Conduct inspections and routine services on vehicles.
• Complete vehicle repairs in a professional and safe manner, following dealer standards.
• Communicate effectively with various departments across the dealership.
• Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient operations.
