Perfect Placement UK Ltd is helping an established Hereford-area used car dealer recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their Service Department. You will service and repair vehicles to manufacturer standards, diagnose faults, and contribute to high customer satisfaction within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time-served equivalent.
• Valid UK driving licence with minimal points.
• MOT licence advantageous but not essential.
• Demonstrable experience in vehicle maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Conduct preventative maintenance, servicing, and repairs on customers' vehicles according to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose faults accurately and efficiently, reporting findings to the Service Manager.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Ensure vehicles are repaired to a high standard within agreed timeframes.
• Work collaboratively within a friendly and professional team environment.
• Support the dealership’s commitment to customer satisfaction and quality service.
