Perfect Placement UK Ltd is assisting a leading franchise-approved car dealership group to recruit a Vehicle Technician for their Long Ashton location near Bristol. You will repair and service vehicles to manufacturer standards, using diagnostic tools and technical knowledge.

Qualifications

• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Strong technical knowledge in diagnostics and electronics.
• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician in a franchise dealership preferred.
• Valid UK driving licence.
• Motivated team player in a target-driven environment.
• Excellent communication and proactive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Conduct repairs and servicing to manufacturer and industry standards.
• Use diagnostic tools to identify faults efficiently.
• Mentor and provide technical assistance to colleagues.
• Ensure work meets safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Communicate repair progress to customers and follow up for satisfaction.

• Conduct accurate and high-standard repairs and servicing of vehicles in accordance with manufacturer, retailer, and industry standards
• Use diagnostic tools and technical knowledge to identify faults efficiently
• Mentoring and providing technical assistance to fellow Vehicle Technicians
• Ensure all work complies with safety, quality, and environmental standards
• Communicate effectively with customers regarding vehicle issues and repair progress
• Follow up on work completed to ensure customer satisfaction
• Maintain a tidy and safe workshop environment
• Requirements of a Vehicle Technician:
• Qualified to IMI/NVQ Level 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

• Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a franchise dealership preferred
