Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician at a busy main dealership in Stourbridge. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, have a Full UK driving licence, and have the right to work in the UK.

An MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential. The role involves servicing, diagnostics and repairs to manufacturer standards within a supportive workshop team, with an uncapped bonus scheme and paid overtime.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (or equivalent qualification).
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic.
• Experience within a main dealership or independent garage.
• Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills.
• MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair work.
• Carry out repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards.
• Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the workshop team.
• Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and workshop organisation.

Salary:Up to £36,000 Basic | OTE: £45,000+ (Uncapped)

Bonus: Uncapped Bonus Scheme + Paid Overtime

MOT Allowance: Additional £125 per month for qualified MOT Testers
