Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician in Stafford. The role involves servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard at a busy main dealership.

You will perform health checks with modern diagnostic equipment, diagnose faults, and carry out warranty work. Applicants need Level 3 NVQ at least, a full UK licence, and the right to work in the UK. Training and progression are provided.

Qualifications

• Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence or equivalent.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills.
• Diagnostic, MOT testing or Electric Vehicle experience is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard
• Complete vehicle health checks using modern diagnostic equipment
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults
• Carry out authorised additional repair work
• Complete warranty repairs in line with required procedures
• Road test vehicles to confirm faults have been rectified
• Complete job cards, service records and workshop paperwork accurately

Vehicle Technician - Stafford

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Stafford.

Applicants must hold a Full UK Driving Licence, possess a Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence or equivalent, have previous motor trade workshop experience and have the right to work in the UK.

• £34,000 basic + £3,000 Productivity Bonus + Uncapped Time Saved Bonus

OTE

• Up to £41,230, uncapped

Hours

• Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm, plus 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am - 12:30pm

• Full UK Driving Licence

• Strong servicing, maintenance and repair skills
• Diagnostic, MOT testing or Electric Vehicle experience is desirable but not essential
• Previous manufacturer experience is not essential, as full brand accreditation training will be provided.
