Job summary

Octane Recruitment Limited is recruiting an experienced Vehicle Technician for a busy Birmingham main dealership. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and have the right to work in the UK.

The role offers up to £35,000 basic with an uncapped bonus and an OTE of £45,000+. Includes paid overtime, 31 days holiday, birthday off, training, pension, staff discounts and on-site parking.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous main dealership or independent garage experience.
• MOT Tester Licence is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to required standards.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Use modern diagnostic equipment to identify and rectify issues.
• Complete electronic vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Record completed work accurately using workshop systems.
• Work efficiently to achieve productivity and quality targets.
• Maintain high workshop and Health & Safety standards.

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Birmingham. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Previous main dealership or independent garage experience is required.

Location: Birmingham

Salary: Up to£35,000 Basic + Uncapped Bonus

OTE: £45,000+

Hours: Full Time + Paid Overtime

Vehicle Technician Requirements

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
• Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic
• Previous main dealership or independent garage experience
• Strong servicing, repair and diagnostic skills
• Full UK Driving Licence
• Right to work in the UK
• MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential
