Octane Recruitment Ltd is helping a busy main dealership in Redditch recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician. You should hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence, and have the right to work in the UK.

Previous main dealer or independent garage experience is required. You will service, diagnose and repair to high standards using modern equipment, complete health checks, maintain records, and work with Service Advisors.

Qualifications

• Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair.
• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Right to work in the UK.
• Experience in a main dealership or independent garage.
• MOT Tester Licence advantageous but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to a high standard.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
• Complete vehicle repairs efficiently and accurately.
• Carry out electronic vehicle health checks and identify additional work.
• Maintain accurate job cards, service records and workshop documentation.
• Work closely with Service Advisors and the wider workshop team.
• Follow all workshop, quality and Health & Safety procedures.

Job description

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Technician to join a busy main dealership in Redditch. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.
