Job summary

Octane Recruitment is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician for a Blackburn main dealer group. The role requires Level 3 qualification and a Full UK driving license, with duties including servicing the fleet and fault diagnosis.

The position offers a salary up to £33,747 base plus bonus and overtime, with OTE around £48k. Working hours are Monday to Friday 8:30am–5pm, Saturdays on a rota. Great progression opportunities within a leading dealership.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ/IMI/City & Guilds Level 3 preferred
• Level 2 with extensive main dealer experience considered

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair
• MOT testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Role:

• Carry out servicing and maintenance of all vehicles
• Electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic fault diagnosis and repair, this work may include warranty approved work in line with our brand parameters
• Department of Transport (MOT) testing duties (if qualified)

Vehicle Technician Requirements:

• Full UK driving license
• NVQ, IMI, City & Guilds level 3 ideally but we will also consider level 2 with a lot of experience (If you’re a level 2 Vehicle Technician with main dealership experience)
