Job summary

The AA is seeking a Technical Advisor at Oldbury Office to provide expert telephone-based technical support and guidance. You’ll determine when patrols are required, ensuring safety and efficiency for customers.

You’ll be part of a growing team dedicated to high-quality service. With NVQ Level 2/3 in light vehicle maintenance, strong problem-solving skills and a flexible attitude to shifts (including weekends), you’ll support customer inquiries, record data accurately, and help customers through

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or equivalent.
• Demonstrable experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
• Ability to communicate technical information clearly to customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential technical support, advice and repair fixes to customers, ensuring visits occur only in genuine breakdown scenarios.
• Deliver efficient communication to resolve breakdowns and support customers.
• Accurately record data on relevant databases using multiple systems.
• Offer clear advice and maintain excellent customer service throughout interactions.
• Work as a target-driven team member to achieve results.
