Job summary

The AA is hiring an on-road patrol to diagnose and repair vehicle issues at customers\' locations across the UK. You’ll start and finish from the driveway, working independently while staying part of a supportive team.

With NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair and a full B driving licence (6 points or less), you’ll use technical knowledge and clear communication to deliver quick, safe roadside solutions. Flexible shifts including evenings and bank holidays offered.

Qualifications

• NVQ3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent qualifications with appropriate experience.
• Full category B driving licence with 6 points or less.
• Confidence using and adapting to new technology.
• Flexibility to work shift patterns including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.

Responsibilities

• Start and finish on your driveway, paid from the moment you get in your van to the moment you get home.
• Work independently across varied locations and conditions, while remaining a supportive team member.
• Use technical knowledge and clear communication to help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Solve problems on the spot, using your technical skills and calm approach to handle roadside situations.
