Job summary

The AA is seeking a Technical Helpdesk Advisor for the Oldbury Office. You will deliver expert telephone-based vehicle support, directing patrols only where necessary and logging detailed data in our systems.

We require NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or equivalent, with strong problem-solving and communication skills. Shifts span 07:00–20:00, weekends on a roster, with a comprehensive benefits package and funded training.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2/3 in Light Vehicle maintenance and Repair or equivalent is required.
• Demonstrable experience in the motor vehicle repair industry.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical information clearly.

Responsibilities

• Provide essential technical support and repair advice to customers via telephone.
• Ensure attendance is limited to genuine breakdown scenarios; direct patrols as needed.
• Meticulously record data in relevant databases to support management insights.
