Hawk Hiring LTD in the Brighton area is seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join our workshop near Shoreham-by-Sea. You will handle a dynamic mix of MOT testing, servicing, and repairs across all makes, with specialist modern MINI work and routine engine rebuilds.

Candidates with 2+ years of technician experience, a passion for classic vehicles and motorsport, and a Full UK driving licence are encouraged to apply. The role offers a 35k–45k salary and a weekend-free schedule.

Qualifications

Pay & Benefits

• Basic Salary: £35,000 – £45,000 basic per annum (Tailored salary scale starting from mid-level tech up to Diagnostic Specialist / Master Tech level)
• Hours & Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:30 PM — STRICTLY ZERO WEEKENDS (Enjoy every single weekend completely off)

Best known as regional experts in Modern MINIs and multi-brand servicing, we also take on unique historic builds, classic restorations, and custom track/motorsport projects—including building custom race cars that have competed in 24-hour endurance events. Role Overview

Seeking a skilled Vehicle Technician or Mechanic to join our workshop team near Brighton. You will handle a dynamic mix of work—combining everyday MOT testing, routine servicing, and general repairs across all makes and models with specialized modern MINI work, engine rebuilds, classic restorations, and motorsport track prep.

Requirements

• Experience: Open to candidates with 2+ years of technician experience up to fully qualified Master Technicians (NVQ Level 3 or time-served equivalent).
• Passion & Skills: Strong mechanical ability with a genuine passion for classic vehicles, motorsport, and all-makes servicing.
• Diagnostics & MOT: Confidence with modern diagnostic equipment (MOT Smart Tester status is a bonus, but not required).
• Essentials: Full UK driving licence, own hand tools, high attention to detail, and a strong team ethic.

Location & Commute

• Base: Shoreham-by-Sea area (Free secure on-site parking)
• Road Links: Strategic position directly off key coastal transport corridors (A27 / A259).
• Commutable From: Brighton, Hove, Worthing, Lancing, Portslade, Steyning, Henfield, and Shoreham.
