Job summary

McLaren Automotive is seeking an experienced Programme Lead to manage software and electrical architecture within the vehicle development cycle. You will report to the Head of EE Programmes and drive delivery of targets, KPIs and milestones in a matrix structure, coordinating with engineering, validation and programme management to ensure on-time, on-budget execution.

The role requires a strong background in automotive software, DFMEA, and multi-domain integration.

Qualifications

• Electrical/Electronic Engineering degree 2:1 or higher is required.
• Proven leadership delivering automotive software programmes within APQP/ASPICE framework.
• Experience on high-volume or niche automotive programs with OEM or Tier 1 suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Software & EE Architecture targets and deliverables across the vehicle programme.
• Prepare and present MDP slides for project gateways and ensure timely reporting.
• Generate business cases and lifecycle plans for key technology decisions.
• Manage Software Change Requests in collaboration with the Software Integration engineer.
• Define the feature implementation plan and ensure alignment with development gates.
