Job summary

Halfords is hiring a Vehicle Service Technician in Plymouth. You will perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repairs such as brakes, suspension and steering components.

The role offers a base salary of £33,830 with an uncapped bonus scheme averaging £4,500 yearly, totaling on-target earnings up to £38,330. We provide 5.6 weeks of leave, staff discounts, health benefits, pension and various savings schemes, with opportunities to progress via hybrid training and ATA/MOT

Qualifications

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering components).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as part of vehicle maintenance.
• Perform follow-up repairs and replacements such as brakes, suspension and steering components.
• Contribute to delivering high service standards at Halfords Autocentres.
