Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Staines, Surrey. You will perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repairs including tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension.

The role requires Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time‑served experience and a full driving licence with up to 9 points. The position offers a base salary of £32,500–£35,910 with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme and an average extra £5,000 per year, giving on-target

• Must have Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus related repair work.

Skills and experience

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points
• Experience of delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)
