Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Brighton to perform interim, full and major services, plus follow-up repairs such as brakes, suspension and steering.

You will hold a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served) and a full UK driving licence with <= 9 points. The role includes hybrid training and ATA/MOT qualifications for career progression.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full UK driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair work (brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and necessary repairs.
• Perform replacement work on brakes, suspension and steering components.
• Contribute to the upkeep of vehicle safety and reliability.
