Job summary

Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician in Brighton, performing interim, full and major services along with follow-up repair work. You will handle tyres, brakes, transmission, steering and suspension tasks as part of a busy Autocentre team.

The role requires a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served), plus a full driving licence with up to 9 points. The company offers an extensive benefits package and progression opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs.
• Perform tyre, brake, suspension and steering work as required.
• Contribute to customer service by explaining work performed and ensuring quality.
