Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services, and carry out follow-up repair work including brakes, suspension, steering and air conditioning. You will be part of a team in a busy automotive service environment, with opportunities to advance through training and ATA/MOT qualifications.

The role offers a base salary up to £33,000 with an uncapped bonus scheme averaging £4,500 per year, generating on-target earnings up to £37,500.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent OR time served experience.
• Must have a full drivers licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair work.

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services as well as follow-up repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension, steering, air conditioning, etc).
