Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Irvine to perform interim, full and major services and related repairs. You’ll handle tyres, brakes and suspension work as part of a busy service centre team.

Full training, ATA/MOT qualifications are supported, and a comprehensive benefits package awaits. The position offers a base salary of £30,950–£31,500 with an uncapped bonus scheme averaging £3,900 per year and on-target earnings up to £35,400.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services plus relevant repair and replacement work (brakes, suspension and steering component replacement, air con service etc)

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and related repair work.
• Perform tyre, brake, transmission, steering and suspension replacements as needed.

Qualified Mechanic or Technician??
