Job summary

Halfords in Chelmsford is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician to perform interim, full and major services, plus repairs on tyres, brakes, steering and suspension. You will work five days a week (closed Sundays) with an uncapped monthly bonus scheme.

The role requires a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or time served) and a full UK driving licence (no more than 9 points). The company offers generous leave, staff discounts and a path to ATA & MOT Tester qualifications.

On-target earnings up to £40,910 comprising a base salary of £32,500 - £35,910. An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £5,000 per year. 5 days a week (closed on Sundays). Earn extra with our refer-a-friend scheme. T&Cs apply.

Qualified Mechanic or Technician? Join Halfords as a Vehicle Service Technician where you will carry out interim, full, and major services as well as any follow-up repair and replacement work. Such work includes tyres, brakes, transmission, steering, and suspension, amongst others.
