Job summary

Halfords is seeking a Vehicle Service Technician in Gloucester to perform interim, full and major services and follow-up repairs, including brakes, suspension and steering. The role offers a competitive base salary plus uncapped bonus, with a total earning potential up to £38,130 per year.

With 5 days a week (centre is closed on Sundays), you’ll join the UK’s leading motoring services retailer and benefit from a comprehensive package including generous annual leave and product/service discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have a Level 2 in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or time served experience.
• Must have a full driving licence with no more than 9 points.
• Experience delivering interim, full and major services and repairs (brakes, suspension and steering).

Responsibilities

• Carry out interim, full and major services and related repairs.
• Repair and replace components such as brakes, suspension, steering and air conditioning as needed.

• On-target earnings up to £38,130 per year
• Comprising a base salary of £30,750 - £33,830 per year
• An uncapped monthly bonus scheme with average additional earnings of £4,300 per year
